What to do if your Truma Gas Boiler won’t light on gas
If a red light appears when you switch the boiler on via the control panel, it means your boiler has gone into fault mode. Follow the troubleshooting steps below to rectify.
Step 1. Check vent cover is open.
This could be because the outside vent cover has been left on – ensure this is removed before turning on the boiler.
Step 2. Check your gas bottles.
It could also be your gas bottle has not been turned on, is running low or completely out of gas.
Note: When you swap gas bottles, a good practice is to then light your oven hobs to ensure no air is in the lines.
Step 3. To clear the fault and reset.
- Turn off the control panel
- Ensure the above has been done (cover removed and gas bottle checked)
- Leave it off for 5 minutes, then turn it back on
- If it doesn’t reset turn the switch on, off, on within 2.5 seconds
