Operating the control panels in a Benimar

This article and video will show you how to operate the control panels in your Benimar motorhome

In your Benimar motorhome, you have two main control panels that work everything in your motorhome.

The main control panel operates things like:

  • Lights.
  • Water pump.
  • Outside light.
  • Checks your batteries.
  • Tank levels.

Instructions:

The Truma heating system control panel operates:

  • Hot water
  • Heating on gas or mains

Please note:

  • In your Benimar motorhome, you have a battery charger for mains power.  However, when your motorhome is in storage or not being used, do not plug it into mains 24/7 or you could damage your house battery.  Generally, your solar panels will keep your battery topped up, however, you should check on your battery voltage often.  On your control panel, your battery voltage should be over the 50% mark.  If you see it dropping close to the 50% mark, plug your motorhome in for an 8-12 hour charge on mains.
